The tariff
Agile prices the whole house by the half hour.
Octopus Agile is Octopus Energy's dynamic tariff: your unit rate follows the wholesale market, changing every 30 minutes, and tomorrow's 48 prices publish around 4pm today. When wind floods the grid they crash, sometimes below zero. At teatime they spike. Ember exists to put your charging at the bottom of that curve.
Intelligent Go is often the simpler EV tariff.
Intelligent Octopus Go gives the car a fixed off-peak window and prices the rest of the house at a higher day rate. Choose it if you want that certainty. Agile prices every half-hour for the whole house, and the cheap stretch moves. Ember EV only helps after you are on Agile.

Same contiguous-run rule as the app, using today's prices in the table above. Defaults are the scheduler's: 82 kWh battery, 7.4 kW charger, 80% target. Change them.
Onboard charger efficiency is 0.88, as in the scheduler. A personal price cap, a leave-by time, and whether the car is at home are not applied. Not a quote. Saving method.

Where the token lives
Tesla OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on Supabase in the EU. The Railway proxy relays signed commands and, as the privacy policy states, does not store them.
How to revoke
Remove Ember EV at accounts.tesla.com. Revoking access stops the commands. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect or delete the account.

Which cars and phones does Ember EV support?

How do I disconnect Ember EV from my Tesla?
Remove Ember EV at accounts.tesla.com. Revoking access stops the commands. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect or delete the account.
When is Intelligent Octopus Go the better fit?
When you want a fixed off-peak window and Octopus to schedule the car. Agile prices the whole house every half hour. Ember EV does not automate Intelligent Go.
Are Ember EV savings guaranteed?
No. In the app, a saving is the gap versus the flat rate stored on the account. If none is stored, the scheduler uses 15.41p/kWh. This site does not show a fleet savings total.
